I missed my post yesterday, and this morning, I intended to post Day Five early and Day Six later this evening. But as I was putting Corin to sleep this morning, I read breaking news about the school shooting in Connecticut. At the time, it was unknown if anyone had died; now the toll stands at 27 fatalities, 20 of them children.
I am so saddened that I cannot bring myself to write normal stories. So let Day Five be a moment of silence- time to think, to breathe, to pray. I will do all of these. And I will hug my children.
